Hi everyone,
There are several ways you can invite people to the online OAEF forum on Older Adults Education that will take place on May 11 from 10:00 to 12:00 AM.? I just forwarded a very eye-catching email with a flyer attached, which is one thing you can use as an invitation.? If you want a simpler email, you can copy and paste the message below into your own email and send it out.? ?Feel free to edit the text.? I recommend that you put your own contact information on the "If you have any questions, contact... " line, since you will be sending this to people you know. If you get a question you can't answer, please feel free to contact me.

the state of educational opportunities for adults over 55 in California, ?Saturday, May 11 from 10:00 to 12:00 PM.
Why are educational opportunities for seniors, one of the
most effective ways to maintain and build health for elders while combatting
loneliness, disappearing at an alarming rate?
Especially since:
Adults over 65 are the fastest growing population in
California;
The U.S. Surgeon General has identified isolation and
loneliness as public health risks, with people over the age of 65 especially
affected;
California has adopted a Master Plan for Aging and is
committed to a state ¡°for all ages and stages¡± by 2030;
Gains in senior health and well-being from a statewide program
providing educational opportunities for older adults could save the state money!
