Re: A small selection of photo's
Hello Roy No I¡¯m not on Flickr, I¡¯m not sure if I should be? Is it free? ? I¡¯m not at all sure about ephotozine, I¡¯ve not long joined! The only thing I can think of is to add the URL of my

Re: Lightroom
Both shots were handheld, it was the D7200 but the exif data was not on the image, is this what happens when you use tubes? I had only just got the tubes so I was trying to see what they would do. 1

Re: A small selection of photo's
Hello Zane Thank you too for your most generous, kind comments. The Slaters Bridge was a colour shot, converted to B&W and then ¡°tweeked¡± in Silver Efex Pro based on one of their templates. Thanks

Re: Lightroom
With this first shot, I¡¯d try seeing what ¡°Auto¡± does for it. Then maybe play with ¡°Clarity", and the ¡°Highlights¡± and ¡°Shadows¡± sliders. My best advice, start playing, see what

Re: Tripods and/or attachments for Macro work
Thanks Zane. In researching more and after my recent experience with the macro tubes, I believe I need to invest in a focusing rail as my next step. I¡¯m just amazed at the super shallow depth of

Re: A small selection of photo's
I don¡¯t believe I¡¯ve ever run across this site. I love the photo of ¡°Slater¡¯s Bridge¡±, and you have some great wildlife photos there. Zane

Re: Tripods and/or attachments for Macro work
I have way more tripods than any sane person should. There are reasons for what I have. When I was first getting serious with a D300, I picked up the Gitzo G2220 cheap, as it was a display unit (I was

Re: Many Thanks to all of you
Hello Roy I¡¯m really pleased to hear that, you¡¯re learning, I think if we¡¯re honest with ourselves, we all learn something along the way, from each other even if it¡¯s a small thing, maybe

Re: Lightroom
My workflow is borderline psychotic. I wish that was a joke. 1. Import photos into Lightroom Catalog (2010 Mac Pro) 2. Import photos from Lightroom Catalog into Capture One (2021 MacBook Pro) 3.

Re: A small selection of photo's
Okay, now you have my interest. What are you trying to achieve? I¡¯m not in the habit of running B&W Negatives through B&W plugins. Having said that, I have experimented a little using Silver Efex 2

Re: A small selection of photo's
We have very limited file storage. When I moved the group over from Yahoo Groups, that used most of the storage that a ¡°Free¡± group has. To move the group, we had to have one year of paid

Dear list members Indeed, in my opinion, it would be good to be able to view each other¡¯s images and, although not for this group, I have been a member of the ¡°ephotozine¡± group/web for a short

Re: A small selection of photo's
Fully understood, I do agree with Christopher but if it is your group then we have to accept the reasoning behind this, I suppose that the group has managed without this feature and found other ways.

Re: A small selection of photo's
Back when this was set up on yahoo groups, there was an issue with viruses being sent with the images and so many of us who owned these groups made it so viruses and images were not allowed. This has
