I was diagnosed in December 2021 and have flown across the Atlantic twice in that period with agreement from both my NO and retina specialist. ?I¡¯ve had no issues as a result of those flights. As mentioned above, most everything is anecdotal. ?There are just few if any answers. ?As a side thought, I also have idiopathic peripheral neuralgia. ?The same happens with that ¡°family.¡± There are no clear cut causes for INO yet people are always grasping at straws trying to make sense of it and to find a miraculous cure which could be staring at them from the shelf of a drug store or a vendor at a homeopathic market. It¡¯s difficult not knowing exactly what happened, why it happened and how it can be sorted. ?I am thankful for the conversations that occur here but to be honest often they scare me as well.?
