Hello, This is my second request. Still looking for help. I need to submit my contest to the ARRL via Cabrillo file. I create the Cabrillo and save it to my ARRL DX Contest folder. Did this many times in the past, so it is pretty simple. I tried it several times a few days ago, and then posted my help message. I tried it again today but it didn't work. I can export an ADIF file okay. I tried to bring up and empty ARRL DX Contest Log, and the import the ADIF. But I can't bring up an empty contest log. It's populated with my QSOs. 73 Fred W3ICM

I just started using Amateur Contact Log. Is there a way to insert special event callsigns so I’ll be alerted when they’re on the air. I’m able to do this with JT Alert and was wondering if this software has that option. Thanks in advance for your help!

Hello, For the ARRL CW contest.... I must have created a Cabrillo file 50 times over the years, and saved into a contest folder; and uploaded to the ARRL site, I did the same thing today, but the file does not appear in my contest folder. I just recently set up AC Log and have a few questions on how REF# works and if I have something wrong. As part of setting up I did an import of ADIF file from another logging program (almost 16k contacts) not all the REF#s are in sequence (most are). The most recent contact was given REF# 1, the oldest 15,659. I just added several new contacts and they were assigned 15,669-15679. Also each time I open the AC log program the Recent Contacts are not in order by Date/Time also not in order by REF# (there is some variability in the order). What is the importance of the REF# and is there a way to set them is the same order as the Date and Time? It would also seem like the oldest should be 1 and the newest the highest number. I could delete and reinstall the entire log file and upload a new ADIF as I am currently running multiple logging programs. I guess perhaps there could have been some corruption error in the initial import that's causing the REF# not to flow in order. Thanks for any thoughts

What's the significance of these colors and styles in the DX contesting software?

I made the mistake of exporting all records from N3FJP ARRL DX Contest to import them AC Log early in the day, and then doing another export of all entries from the contest log to import them to AC Log later in the day, creating 150 dupes which I had to manually remove. Is there a way to only export contacts from the last ADIF creation to AC Log, rather than export all, so I don't wind up with dupes in AC Log?

I am unable to restore Rig Interface on my TS-590s after many years of proper function. I recently moved my rig (but a a few short distance), updated the rig firmware; I have confirmed COM port and all other settings; I have confirmed "rig choice" as Kenwood2; I have rebooted my PC several times. The only indication of communication is two tiny, dotted RED circles. Suggestions? Thanks, 73, W1JHG -Jim

Well here we are Saturday nite of DX and I just noticed my frequency readout is incorrect. On 40 rig is at 7.055.770 and RI shows 0.70558 on Yaesu DX 10 All settings a what has been shown except using the Yaesu Newer instead of Yaesu Newer-2. The Newer-2 pulls up nothing. I have been using RemoteHams for quote sometime and when logging directly the LOTW im able to specificy the correct RemoteHams Grid im using to correctly note in the log the Remote CO station grid im using... I cant seem to log locally to my N3FJP log using that grid config that i have setup in WSJTX or GT .. it still logs my contact info for my QTH. For example if im using an RemoteHams station in FL (EL96) and log a contact when it logs to my grid info instead of putting EL96 it will use my QTH of CN87wi .. is there a configuration im missing? I have a PC that i only use for Remote Hams and typically only use EL96 remote, so if its a static config change i can make that's fine but it would be great to be able to grab that Grid info from GridTracker or WSJTX

AClog displays WSJTX FT8 contact information in realtime as each FT8 QSO is logged, which is a real convenience. However, unlike QSOs that are logged directly into ACLog, ACLog does not look up information about the call sign (from QRZ in my case). Is there some setting I can change to make this happen? Thanks to Scott's masterpieces I used TWO of his programs to do CW,SSB,FT8 with ACL and the WPX program for the RTTY contest EASILY with no pen/pencil! In a POTA park so all Q's counted for POTA. Hats off to the fldigi & wsjtx folks as well. Hint: the ADIF master program is great for log tweaking. Hi Scott, I was thinking how much I love the watch list feature and it would be great if there was a way to say automatically load all the stations mentioned in the ARRL Dx bulletin or one of the other DX bulletins into the watch list. Thanks for a great program! Steve W6QX

I have run into a problem with my backup of ACLOG. I have it set now that every time I close the program I have it backed up to a SD card. I was using a flash drive but that didn't seem to work. My problem is that when I turn on my computer the .mdb file is corrupt. So I have to go back 1 day and load from there which means all qso's from the previous day are not there. I am a avid POTA chaser and I keep a hand written copy of all the qso's I made the day before. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks -- 73's Dave NU4N
