How do I export only certain the most recent records from the ARRL DX Contest log to ADIF? (See below)
I made the mistake of exporting all records from N3FJP ARRL DX Contest to import them AC Log early in the day, and then doing another export of all entries from the contest log to import them to AC Log later in the day, creating 150 dupes which I had to manually remove.

Is there a way to only export contacts from the last ADIF creation to AC Log, rather than export all, so I don't wind up with dupes in AC Log?

Well here we are Saturday nite of DX and I just noticed my frequency readout is incorrect. On 40 rig is at 7.055.770 and RI shows 0.70558 on Yaesu DX 10
All settings a what has been shown except using the Yaesu Newer instead of Yaesu Newer-2. The Newer-2 pulls up nothing.
Where did I screw up?

GridTracker Logging when connected to RemoteHams
I have been using RemoteHams for quote sometime and when logging directly the LOTW im able to specificy the correct RemoteHams Grid im using to correctly note in the log the Remote CO station grid im using... I cant seem to log locally to my N3FJP log using that grid config that i have setup in WSJTX or GT .. it still logs my contact info for my QTH.

For example if im using an RemoteHams station in FL (EL96) and log a contact when it logs to my grid info instead of putting EL96 it will use my QTH of CN87wi .. is there a configuration im missing?

I have a PC that i only use for Remote Hams and typically only use EL96 remote, so if its a static config change i can make that's fine but it would be great to be able to grab that Grid info from GridTracker or WSJTX

Since April 2020 TQSL has an override to allow LoTW to use station location information in the log rather than having to create a new station location for each activation. Thanks for the great tips. The file naming was mentioned in the video, but thanks for
reinforcing the proper format.
I know about exporting a selected group of records, so the idea of one log for POTA is
tempting, but I also like the idea of a separate MDB for each park (OCD? <g>). The
video made the good point that if I muck something up big time using a separate
file, the primary POTA log would not be affected. Of course, "backup, backup, and
backup again" should be anyone's mantra.
The bag is not an old army one but sturdy and water-resistant (it claims waterproof,
but we know how that goes). I'll be using fiberglass masts. Those and basic stands
in the form of guyed 4-foot 3" PVC are just part of the mix. I don't think those
will fit in your bag <g>. The bag will stay in the car all the time.
Should we get a warm-enough spell sometime (not soon it appears), I'll
setup in park US-MyBackYard to work out a routine and find the problems
before going out for real.

Hi Steve, Thanks for the info. I watched some YouTube videos last night, including the one mentioned in the FAQ. and have already created a POTA configuration, so I'm set in that regard. Since TQSL has a private key specific to the computer on which it was installed, my proposed work flow is: On the POTA laptop - Create a new database for the specific park. - Copy a POTA template under a park-specific name. - Change the settings to have the correct location information. - Log away - Export log to ADIF to upload to POTA and import into master on home computer. On the Home Computer, - Create a new station location in TSQL for the park (call set to <NONE>) - Copy the park-specific POTA configuration to the appropriate location - Copy the park-specific MDB (log file) from the laptop. >> Or, just as on the laptop, create a new database and import the ADIF after opening ACLog - Start ACLog - Load the park-specific settings file and switch to the park-specific MDB. - Select eLogs | LoTW - Change the station location to the park-specific one - Click <All contacts not previously uploaded> Into the Primary Log - Switch to the primary log MDB - Load the settings for the primary log - Import the park-specific ADIF. Brian, You can go to Settings>Edit fields displayed, position and tab order>Load a saved configuration...there should already be a basic pota form with the common fields for your pota logging.? As far as the CTRL+S, yes you would change your settings there but I believe you would also need to add a setting for your TQSL with the grid information too prior to uploading.

I am moving my log, and logging program, from computer A to computer B. I am running the 7.0.11 version of ACL. In looking at the KB, I see a list of .xml files I need to move to save some, if not all, of my configurations. I also see that if a default value has not been changed, then there will be no .xml file written for that item.
When I look in "Documents/Affirmatech/N3FJP Software/shared" I see only the following list of .xml files:

Commonsettings.xml
in the "Documents/Affirmatech/N3FJP Software/shared" directory.
The KB gives a list of several other files, some of which I believe
should have been changed, and hence written to
"Documents/Affirmatech/N3FJP Software/shared, as I have made changes
to what I believe are those settings. Things like width of a field in
the
log-- I do not see those .xml files in Documents/Affirmatech/N3FJP Software/shared... Should I? If so, what am I doing wrong?
