Re: What am I missing?

Alan,
Since you said it was a QSO party and you had multiple qso's with the same station could it be you worked him on a County Line? If you log a qso and all info is the same, including date and time LOTW will reject as a dupe. You have to change the time of one of the qso's by at least a minute to make LOTW happy.
I don't believe LOTW looks at the County name so that could be the problem. I have worked 3 and 4 county lines in the past and have to fudge the time of the qso to make it go through.

If it makes any difference they all seem to be QSO party contacts where I have multiple contacts on the same day with the same callsign. However, they are not true duplicates as the time and county information has changeed.

I had just looked at the setup menu in the radio, and the manual, and found 38,400 right away

n3fjp does not mark as sent, until lotw confirms the upload. so, it may be already uploaded, but not marked yet, so I just tell it to ignore, and move on.? ?it will correct itself, on the next download

Hi All

I normally run contests until by own callsign VE9CF, but for WPX this weekend I have XM9A

I setup N3FJP like I normally do, changed the callsign from VE9CF or XM9A after I put in the registration code.

When I try to test the score distributor, I get the response C. run error: Empty or Wrong callsign

Hamdash worked fine

Re: World Map behavior

Hi Bill,

Thanks for your e-mail.? When you tab from the Call field, the pin appears and is red as in this example:

Inline image

If you leave the button displaying Show Logged QSO, after you press enter, it will remain and turn blue.? If you click the button so that is says Hide Logged QSO, it will disappear completely.? Lots more details on how our World Map works are here (and it has become a very valuable tool for me on contest weekends):

If by it you are referring to the map itself instead of the associated pin, the use case for most is to display spots / potential stations to work, so I would not want it to disappear.??

Enjoy!

OK Bob, I was replying to Mikes questions.? I don't know if it would help you at all, but once you sort that column by that field, you can select the records you're interested in, then go to "Edit" menu and select "copy selected records to clipboard".? You can then paste that into spreadsheet or document.

Yes, I know how to search a partial callsign. This question related to doing a search on another data field. A custom field I created to keep track of JA cities and guns. Scott answered that there is no wildcard capability, you can sort that column alpha and scroll down the list.

If you click Find to search the callsign field, and type in "C6", it will find matches for any call sign where C6 appears anywhere in the call.? For example C6AA, TC6ZZ, AC6B would all be listed in the results.

?

When you click on a field header to sort by that field, I think it is just a temporary list.? I don't think there is a way to save that as your preferred sort.?

I know the answer is out there but cannot find it. I want to be able to search one of the custom fields I made (JARL City/Gun number and name) and want to search by just part of the data. For example, for data = 1051 - Nakagawa, I want to be able to searchand find all QSO records that have data starting with 1051. I tried asterick (*) and $, did not work. Appreciate a solution (assuming there is one).? FYI - just entered my 25,000th QSO into N3FJP last week. Awesome software.

Thanks, Bob, KD6C
