Moving to new computer...
Hello,
I am moving my log, and logging program, from computer A to computer B.? I am running the 7.0.11 version of ACL.? In looking at the KB, I see a list of .xml files I need to move to save some, if not all, of my configurations.? I also see that if a default value has not been changed, then there will be no .xml file written for that item. When I look in "Documents/Affirmatech/N3FJP Software/shared" I see only the following list of .xml files: Uploadersettingsshared.xml Countryupdatedate.xml Commonsettings.xml in the "Documents/Affirmatech/N3FJP Software/shared" directory. The KB gives a list of several other files, some of which I believe should have been changed, and hence written to "Documents/Affirmatech/N3FJP Software/shared, as I have made changes to what I believe are those settings.? Things like width of a field in the log-- I do not see those .xml files in Documents/Affirmatech/N3FJP Software/shared...? Should I?? If so, what am I doing wrong? ACLog shows only limited QSO info from WSJTX contact
AClog displays WSJTX FT8 contact information in realtime as each FT8 QSO is logged, which is a real convenience.
However, unlike QSOs that are logged directly into ACLog,
ACLog does not look up information about the call sign (from QRZ in my case).
Is there some setting I can change to make this happen?
Thank you.

Re: ACLOG changes K4D mode
Carl
?
I run ACLog with WSJT and my process is start WSJT, Start JT Alert, then start ACLog and set it to "no rig".? For me it tracks mode, frequency and logs the contact when I get the WSJT "OK" window and check that.? Must be sucking out all the necessary info from WSJT without looking to the radio (my next career will be software developer).

Re: ACLOG changes K4D mode
开云体育A work around might be to use IP control of the radio via
WSJT-X... 73, and thanks,

Re: ACLOG changes K4D mode
I have the same issue with my K4D.? I hoped that there was an option in ACLOG to "poll only", i.e. to prohibit ACLOG from issuing any commands to the rig, but I've tried checking and unchecking all of the boxes in the rig control settings and nothing has worked.

Re: Fw: Changing CW Speed
开云体育This id from N3FJP web site under CW Schematic. Sending CW from Main Form With your rig in CW mode and CW mode displaying in the software, to send an F key string, just press the associated F key from the main form. Be sure that your keyboard has a standard configuration, as some manufacturers remap the F keys for other functions, which may require your reset. You can adjust your speed on the main form by using the Up / Down arrows. Note - if you are using Winkeyer, using the up / down arrows will disable the Winkeyer Speed Pot Lock. ? Tom K5TEE ? ? CQWPXRTTY plus POTA logging
Thanks to Scott's masterpieces I used TWO of his programs to do CW,SSB,FT8 with ACL and the WPX program for the RTTY contest EASILY with no pen/pencil!?
In a POTA park so all Q's counted for POTA.
Hats off to the fldigi & wsjtx folks as well.
Hint: the ADIF master program is great for log tweaking.
One minor bug in the WPX program, You can't selectively export records like in the other programs. No biggie, I figured it out.

Re: ACLOG changes K4D mode
开云体育Kevin, that sounds like a fix. Unfortunately it doesn’t work. Here’s a new example: Going back and forth from FT8 to FT4 also changes mode to CW.I just tried changing "MODE determined by" to frequency. And, deleted "command to read mode”. No change. Fortunately when I go back to FT8, I can select it again and the mode goes back to DATA. Weird!!! Change WSJT to FT4.? Re: Upgrade idea, watch list
Great suggestions Pat. I had not played around with the DX spotting settings and have it working as you recommended now. I will just have to remember to mute Kimberly when I have a business zoom call in the shack/office.? I still have 188 to go so I am reaching the middle and most of the easy ones are in the log.
