AC Log Comment Field
Good Morning! I entered a comment in the Comments field when I logged an FT-8 QSO. Now that comment is replicated for each QSO I log! According to the on-line documentation, that can be stopped by unchecking Settings -> Carry Comments Data Forward I've done this and it doesn't help. Suggestions? 73 Mark K3MSB |

And why Scott doesn’t support a bunch of the smaller QRP contests as well. ? ? Vy73 ?– ?Mike ?– ?KD5KC – WRFF851 – ?El Paso – Texas ?– ?DM61rt. ? SOTA W5T-Texas Association Manager.

Some of these may not be big enough for the software providers to create special programs for them.? You may want to check with the organizers to see if there are any programs that do support them.? Depending on their rules and exchange , they may be similar to another contest that you could use instead.? The only downside is this may require some editing of the cabrillo file after it's been created and you may not have accurate scoring and mults, depending on how close their contest is to others.? I imagine the Ontario QSO party would be similar to other QSO Parties, but some allow FT8 and some allow it on the WARC bands with a standard exchange, so you never know. ? Ryan KI6BTY |

Re: Wishlist auto fill

Yes I do. I have the XML account and everything gets auto filled when I click on the DX stations that were spotted by someone else. However when an alert pops on the wishlist I don’t have an option to go to the frequency/band. I only have a button for delete from wishlist

Re: Wishlist auto fill

If by wish list do you mean watch list ? It is configured to alert on call tab and or DX Spot?
On your QRZ account is it an XML account or better ?? Do you have it configured to do QRZ internet lookup ?

I noticed that there has been plenty of software created for contests; however, I also noticed that there are plenty of contests without a contest software. I also understand the difficulties of programming a software. But I was wondering if there's a way for a generic contesting software, where the user can put in the necessary exchange for the contest that your users (me) can use for the specific contest?

Wishlist auto fill
#fields
I have a few callsigns on my wishlist on N3FJP software and I was able to click on the tab when it popped up and it would automatically fill in the callsign, date, frequency, and everything else it would do as if I clicked on a callsign when it was on the DX spots portion of the software. I now can't do that, I am hoping it's not because I don't have a rig interface. But could someone help me understand why it won't autofill when a callsign pops up on my wishlist?
Thanks in advance to everyone for your thoughts.

If they are LOTW confirmed in DX4WIN, then you enter your LOTW login info under "eLogs", LOTW, then you would do a download. That will mark them confirmed. You can do the same for QRZ Logbook and eQsl. 47 & 73 de Travis KB5ILY On 2025-04-09 16:03, Mark Bell via groups.io wrote:

With luck, I'll pass the Extra later this month. The decision is whether or not to get a new call. I can read all the instructions around about how to manage this with eQSL, QRZ, and LoTW, but there's also the real-world experience of dealing with the change, retiring a call held for more than 50 years, and wondering if it would be put into service again while I'm still pounding the key. I'd appreciate any thoughts, probably best off-line to avoid straying too far afield. 73 and Clear Skies, Brian D. Warner WB0NWZ |

Re: ADIF File Import by date
Hi Ray, Thanks for your e-mail.? Records are imported in the order they exist in the ADIF file to be imported.? If the exporting program can't first sort the records before creating the ADIF file, you'll need to click File > Sort Log on Date after importing to AC Log. Enjoy! 73, Scott N3FJP Serving the Amateur Radio community with contesting and general logging software since 1997. 1 Peter 3 vs 15: Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give . Re: ADIF File Import by date
you could try adifmaster, if it sorts it, then import to n3fjp, but I just use the sort by date in n3fjp. Dave Garber VE3WEJ / VE3IE On Wed, Apr 9, 2025 at 2:32?PM Rick via <garciadc=[email protected]> wrote:
