This is becoming an ongoing problem with ACL and others that use the Documents folder on your computer to store their files BY DEFAULT.?

Windows hit another friend yesterday with a similar situation.? He had created a presentation at home and went to give it to his club in a location without WiFi and NOTHING was on his laptop.? Thinking "Backup" was a good thing, he did that and it finally bit him.? He thought nothing about it since he had WiFi at home and most other places he visited and things worked.? But this time, NO.? Luckily, someone in the meeting had a cell phone with Hotspot capabilities and he got access to that and his OneDrive files.??

Today, I talked him through getting OneDrive off of his new W11Pro laptop and bringing his files all back home where they belonged.?

The problem with M$ attempt is that if you have more than 5G (or whatever the free limit is) in the affected folders and you activate Backup, during the upload your oldest files are deleted to keep you under the limit.? If you have lots of Pictures or other very large files, you are doomed.?
