Thanks for your e-mail.? I'm sorry that you are still having trouble.? I understand installation worked normally on another PC, but I agree with Kevin that this must be a security settings problem.? Something, either your security software or the folder settings applied in your OS are not allowing the installer to do its job.? Giving the installer the proper permissions will remedy that.

1. It does not matter if i run from downloads folder as admin, i get the same error.
2. I updated from call log on another windows 11 home machine to 7.08 using the call log updater and it works fine. Both had AVG running.
I have no clue what it is and not really care. Until Scott built in the updater, i let it go years between updates. Just find it odd.?
