Podium mics are a good idea, I'll have a look into those. My reasoning for using lav mics is that I'll be interviewing people who aren't experienced with microphones and want to be able to have natural feeling conversations, but it does give my sound editor lots of issues. Unfortunately my sound editor is also me.?
