Heyo there dear MicBuilders,
Im new in the microphone build area and having some problems
with the circuit im working on. Im trying to build a low noise
balanced Cardiod mic with the Primo EM264Y. My Prof. at the
University helped me on the making of the circuit, but after i
built it, I noticed it is much noisier than expected, comparred
to the EM264Y Data sheet.
Im not sure what is causing this noise. I already tryied
cleaning the board, grounding the build and using Metal film
resistors.
Here are the two versions of the circuit and the builds. J1
& R8 simulates the EM264Y Capsule.
Any suggestion would be very appreciated :)
