Thanks but I knew how to convert cartesian to polar but I have several thousand lines of cartesian G code that I want converted so one line at a time wouldn't work for me.

I made a mistake
In spindle its not the pin numbers is the output numbers
and I have set the pins numbers in the outputs, oops!
I am using the ESS Smoothstepper .

I have had similar issues with features that have stopped working. I think one was that I was unable to change motor settings. The only solution I found was to save the setup files (.XML extension)
