Re: New cnc
If I understand you correctly, in the diagnostic screen you can toggle the spindle button and presumably you will see the LED output diagnostic also toggle and you hear a relay switching.
That sounds

Re: New cnc
just a wild guess, but you say the auto tool holder is reversed, is it possible there is an internal interlock that disables the spindle motor while it thinks the tool clamp is open?

Re: New cnc
If you want to just get started, I would recommend reversing the hi/lo as Andy recommended, and consider toggling the spindle manually. I know it isn't ideal, but a lot of good parts have been made

Re: New cnc
Sounds like you need to reverse the “Active Hi/Active Lo” setting for the Auto tool spindle release. That should stop it from acting backwards.

Re: Controlling relays via Custom Mcode
not sure if this will work the way you want, but you can turn on and off outputs with something like this
DoOEMButton(233) 'output4 on
DoOEMButton(234) 'output4 off
DoOEMButton(235) 'output5

Controlling relays via Custom Mcode
I wish to control via relays,
Using Mach3, VB and MK4-ET V1.5 XHC Motion card., Omron 24VDC relays.
The "ON" code is M704, and content is ActivateSignal(Output4) : This works
The "OFF" code is M724

Mach 3 reference, not homing
Hi All
In Mach3 Turn;
When one clicks on the button "Set Home X", the axis moves onto the switch,
and backs off, setting the reference point.
However, a G28 or G53 simply moves... to that position.
