Russia still has a communist dictatorship mindset, and that is how communist dictatorships work. What concerns me is when similar things happen in nations that are supposed to be free democracies. Like the Coutts 4 in Canada, held in prison for 2 years without trial after the blockade at the border in Coutts, Alberta in Feb 22. And the political persecution of Donald Trump, hauled into court on multiple made-up charges to block him from running for President. These things are very concerning, because it shows that these formerly free democracies are sliding rapidly down into autocracy and dictatorship. 2.? Wgat was the greatest chimera of the 20th century? Chimera: something made up by or existing only in the mind. That's man-made climate change, hands down. And also the idea that man could do anything at all the change or stop it, if it really was happening. 3.? It is disturbing, and I’m certain his death was not accidental or from natural causes (well possibly natural causes from being mistreated for so long.) But concerned? I wouldn’t say I’m concerned. Navaly’s death was not unexpected, and he himself knew that when he voluntarily returned to Russia.

Mildly. I don’t doubt Putin would like, and is crazy enough, to use nuclear weapons, but I think that even his staunchest underlings know at best, this action would lead to mutual destruction. I trust that Putin has enough sane underlings, that they would never carry out an order from Putin to use nuclear weapons.

I had to check, I do have the day off work. I doubt I will do anything special. I use to like to make a corn beef dish on St. Patrick’s day, but corned beef has been to hard to find for the past several years.

I think overall it is improving, however illicit drug use is increasing. Many illicit drug users are employed due to the economy being strong. But there are many drug users unable to maintain employment, and homelessness is increasing because of this. I also suspect that my area has become a hub for drug users from other areas to move to (perhaps because of lower cost of living, and its easier for them to get a job.) So its kind of a mixed bag, I do think my local economy is improving by many measures, but the increased homelessness, begging, and drug use, shows that the may not be that secure.

This is a talking point of Trump’s, but he has given zero evidence of this. Seems to me the opposite is true, the US Department of Justice is bending over backwards treating Trump with kid gloves. If anyone else had been accused of even half the stuff the Trump has been accused of ?(some of which he has publicly admitted to doing—stealing the classified documents and refusing to return them,) they would be sitting in jail awaiting trial. I never paid attention the US Department of Justice until the past couple of years, but it does seem that they seek justice, even if they drag tail doing so.

?I?am seeing extremes of weather? With general overall warming that includes ice melt and wildfire spreads secondary to arid conditions. Of course, I feel like it is not? a clear cut? linear pattern, but I am curious whether I will be burned alive, drowned and then frozen or whether things will progress in a different combination.
Most importantly to me, I will be driving toward the Northeast before those 100+F days return!

LOL. How would that work? Israel is not really responsive?to organizations with teeth! In any case, I feel it would be a poor precedent and I feel it?is not warranted. Israel has made its point in Gaza and hopefully Hamas (which is probably far from destroyed) might just try to think up new strategies moving forward. Pouring into Israel and murdering people is obviously not the most effective approach for pursuing their goals.
