Anabel Perez All Messages By This Member #228 Of course not. Only for those where lockdown is recommended. So far, this covid family is the only one I've lived through. However, it is interesting to consider different levels of lockdown and restrictions. For example, a couple of years ago I went to visit my brother in Brasil. I could have gone without getting vaccination for malary, I think it was. But ?why would I risk it? When I was a child, I got chickenpox, and had to stay at home, not only for me, but to avoid getting other kids infected. Same happened with lice, wich was pretty common. Neither are death threatening, but sitll, infected individuals must stay at home. I remember reading (and my parents telling me about when they were young) that other diseases requiried lockdowns or closing schools if an infected child appeared, to avoid contagiousness to others. So lockdowns are not unreasonable, even for not deadly or cripling diseases, if they come along with other measures and protocols to be safe.
