PMC is not a stand-alone goto computer. ? ?You need a lappy to run it via ASCOM. ?The Gemini is a full standalone goto computer system, which in addition can be used with ASCOM -- Brendan

Hi Brian ... I¡¯ve got the G-11 with Gemini2. I use three of Pyramid PS-14K power supplies I got off Amazon. The Pyramids have 13.8V At 12 amps. I use one just for the G-11, but that¡¯s an overkill.

Sorry Brian, one more thing, I never have found the need for GPS, I can get my location off my phone ( it is a simple update ) and if you can't get the GPS location on your phone the GPS unite wont

Welcome WD4DX,The G11 works better with higher voltage, between 12 volts DC and 19 volts DC. My remote setup is a deep cell Marine battery with one of Michael Herman's voltage boosters
