Re: Mounting C9.25 using Losmandy plates
Robert, My feeling is your 9.25 should mount fine. If you were told you would have to mount you 9.25 upside down, I am betting you can go the other route like I did. I can carry my OTA around by the

So, uh Herm... If you don't find one, would you be interested in splitting a pair? I just replaced the connector on my RA drive after my G11's maiden voyage after I <ahem> forgot to tighten the

Re: Mounting C9.25 using Losmandy plates
Gregory, Thanks for the info. I wonder if the hole pattern is the same on the C9.25? The C9.25 also weighs a bit more than the C8 OTA (about 22 pounds I think), but hopefully not enough to make a

Re: Mounting C9.25 using Losmandy plates
Robert, I too was told I would need to mount my C8 OTA upside down on my Losmandy Dovetail. I discovered otherwise. I used the standard dovetail for the G-11 and was able to mount the OTA rightside

Mounting C9.25 using Losmandy plates
Has anyone mounted a C9.25 using the Losmandy dovetail? If you put the DC9.25 on the top of the scope you have to flip the scope upside down in order to attach it to the Losmandy dovetail. I'm

Re: Where can I get a hand controller cable splitter?
Yes, it does depend on what "local" means on the Internet. Dick Smith Elctronics sells them. Greg Crawford

Re: Where can I get a hand controller cable splitter?
"Ace Hardware" stores carry a 6 conductor splitter (part # 3108396) in the telephone accessory section. I hope this helps. Cal Sandfort Allen Maroney wrote:

Where can I get a hand controller cable splitter?
I'm considering a autoguider to use with the G11. The hand controller cable uses a 6 conductor cable and I assume that a st4 uses the same. I have found plenty of standard 4 conductor phone cord
