There is a lot of discussion here and on other forums about measured DEC backlash on Losmandy mounts in PHD2.? It seems there is a high measured value on the springloaded worms, but in practice most mounts guide fine.? It may be something to do.with the springs and the fast reverses that the calibration mode uses, but which never happen in guiding.? So if you confirm your DEC isn't loose or wobbling by feel, you may be able to ignore the PHD2 warnings as you troubleshoot.?
