Yup, the GM8G and G11 share virtually all hard points other than those needed to accommodate the larger G11 worm gear mechanics. The GM8 DEC section had to be the same length / height as the G11 to clear the original classic Losmandy straight stepper drive assembly. The worms and blocks are the same only the worm gears and the mechanicals to support them were changed for the G11.?
