check most recent exposure, check RMS, zoom in and double check stars, go to sequence and make sure everything is?still good, check how many exposures I've gotten, check on how long I have until meridian, wonder if auto flip will work tonight, get paranoid and double check that camera settings are right and cooling is on, repeat.
Nina is so good at what it does, it seems to be automating my cognitive process. I've become one with the sequence.
I use sharpcap for pa, but my error as measured by phd2 guiding assistant was around 10 minutes and then 7 minutes the second time I ran it IIRC, meanwhile I can get sharpcap <5". I'm switching to a new scope soon so I'm going to give this more attention, thinking of trying two sharp cap PAs in a row.
I have yet to try drift alignment, but have been curious. I found this post on CN about a quicker way to?, again, I haven't tried it but if you will be sticking with drift align, it may save you some time.
