On wind specifically I find that it starts to reflect in my guide graph at about 6mph as reflected by weather apps, not a wind measuring tool, so this is a guess at best. This is with my 8SE at 1457mm FL. I think that guiding results translate to image sharpness regardless of whether wind, seeing or mount stability are the cause.
My Stellarvue at 480mm is far less susceptible ?to wind, but maybe because it has less if a cross section? I know that using the dew shield on the SCT seems to have a dramatic impact on the rig¡¯s sensitivity to wind.
