The McLennan gearboxes and other issues were issues people were trying to overcome periodic PEC tick issues with the losmandy drive. ?People like this site have been doing it since yr 2000! ?Specificly the early worms PE was not as good as new versions.?

as for the Gearbox mod. Many many people have reported significant improvements changing to it ? Mark Crossley is a legend in early losmandy mounts?
Users mileage may vary of course. ! ?The early motors were either French or Chinese but definitely metric.?
