I stated I stopped reading your linked article as soon as I found it disagreeable TO ME!
(Here in the States, we can do that.)

It appears you have a reading comprehension malfunction.

There are others here who also noted exactly what I said.
I think Jaguars and Rolls Royce's?will never grace my driveway as well.
But I do have several friends from Great Britain who relocated here. Great folks.
