I feel exactly the same way about my G11 too. It performs flawlessly as my astophotography platform.

I've had my G11 for over 8 months now and I've used it a lot, especially this summer. Other than the bump I had a month or so ago it has exceeded all of my expectations. I've taken hundreds of hours of photos with very few lost because of tracking problems. I can't imagine a better more reliable mount. When I bought it, I was thinking of spending thousands more for another mount. I'm really glad I didn't.
