Jim,
The S2 encoders would work but they are shaped differently than the S1's
and a new housing would have to be added.
If you use the NGC Sky Vector as your computing interface to the
encoders then you would simply dial in the new encoder resolutions. The
best way to do this is to set the encoder resolution on the interface
and then do a complete 360 deg. rotation of the axis' and check the
encoder funtion on the interface to see it goes from zero back to zero.
When this occurs, your resolution is set appropriately and everything
should work just fine.
