Re: An issue that doesnt always pop up
Oh you¡¯re already running Flrig?

Re: An issue that doesnt always pop up
I have it listed as flrig in the js8 settings and flrig running with it. Am i doing it wrong?

Re: An issue that doesnt always pop up
I¡¯d run it with Flrig. That bypasses most problems due to higher compatibility which leads to improved stability. Flrig has the TX500 listed in their CAT plan directory while JS8CALL has not.

An issue that doesnt always pop up
Hey guys,? Operating JS8 through digirig (Tx500 version) and flrig, and it will occasionally stay in transmit or fault out to a funky screen where the frequency is supposed to be. Got an error today

Re: Has anyone connected the TX-500 to a Micro PA50 Amplifier?
Yes, works great. Info above is good. Start low and increase TX500 output to prevent overloading the PA50. I use a key line but the amp does do RF

Re: Has anyone connected the TX-500 to a Micro PA50 Amplifier?
I have. When my PA500 amplifier was not setup correctly I used the PA50. RF out of the TX-500 into the RF in on the PA50 then hook up your antenna to the PA50. Pretty simple. Use small jumper cable

Has anyone connected the TX-500 to a Micro PA50 Amplifier?
I see that several of you have connected the Lab599 TX-500 to an MX50 QRP Amp, but has anyone connected it to the Micro PA50 Amp? If so can you please share the cable setup you used? [image:

Re: US Support for TX-500
If it were me, I would email support (maybe use .ru instead of .com domain, or use both) and ask what will be done about that. -- 73, Norm/KC1BMD

Re: Settings for JS8Call #js8call
I did try flrig because I do want to try fldigi at some point, but I never did get flrig working.? That's another story. However, I'm up and running with JS8Call. It needed to run the 2.2.1-devel
Re: US Support for TX-500
Good question that probably only Lab599 support in Russia could answer. -- 73, Norm/KC1BMD

Re: Transmit Delay Setting
I'm using the DIY599 PA500 SS amp now without any trips due to SWR. I was thinking more about preventing hot switching on key-down with a "transmit delay". Key up hot switching can be controlled

Re: US Support for TX-500
Hmm. What about those of us who still have the TX-500 at the Reno facility? Matt N3VAN

Re: Transmit Delay Setting
Norm: You may have difficulty using a solid-state amplifier. The 500 has spikes out at 43 kHz (both sides) that will trip out the SWR protection of the amp. Chuck w8mqw

US Support for TX-500
Probably already known information but just thought I would post this: *Unfortunately, our service partner in Reno is no longer able to provide services for the maintenance of our company's products

Transmit Delay Setting
Many HF radios have a setting for "Transmit Delay" to delay the start of RF to a linear amplifier to make sure that the amp's relay is closed before RF hits it to avoid hot-switching the amp. I don't
Re: Settings for JS8Call #js8call
Kathleen, If you use multiple radio apps best use Flrig as middleware. Much more stable and convenient this way. Also, it has the TX500 listed. Pretty sure it¡¯ll solve your problem.

Hi Kathleen Try this link and you will find an attached pdf. See if you got the right settings from the pdf. Hope this helps. /g/Lab599/topic/89671873 73, Pier, HB9IIA
