Yes that¡¯s it. Set Split to none. You can also try uncheck Allow Tx freq changes while transmitting. It should force it to stay of freq.

Yea, gps is fine. I use a ublox7 and m0iax program.
However, ill look into split. Do you know where/what menu it's at? I'm gonna look in a bit.

You may want to check your timing. Are you GPS syncing your time? Also in the app switch off split.

Using my Tx500 and JS8, I have an issue where JS8 will drop the frequency 500Hz at the end of every Tx stage with or without continuous transmit on. I tried on normal and every 15s a drop,

this is why I'm skeptical about the BP-500 if you use a small amp
if you use an amp like the PA-500
it's ideal to use solar --> controller/hub --> battery --> ( multiple devices)

They are in series 3s2p so the amps only add in parallel
so 6 or so AH at 12v

BP500 did arrive today. ?It came with 6 x 18650 35E flat tops. ?It should be ample for SOTA work even with just 3 batteries installed +/- a small solar panel. ?I also have a PA500E which I resort

In my opinion the flaw in the BP-500 is that it cannot power a small amp in addition to the radio
With a solar panel connected, the battery could act as an all day "buffer" for more than one device

Actually there are no bugs to work out with the current BP500. ?I own the current version and it has worked flawlessly. ?As state earlier evidently the new version along with internal engineering

I use a Bioenno external battery and no issues.? Yes, it would be nice to have the integrated BP500 but it is expensive and I will wait until all bugs worked out.? In the interim, I love the Lab599

While the bioenno's are great the BP-500 not only is more compact but supports solar charging (up to 50v) with its built in charge controller if that's important to you. ?Here's a tip on buying
