As far as I'm aware, DIF on or off does not affect receiver performance. It just changes the virtual IF. Pete M3KXZ

Yes, the bandpass filter was the solution. I just wasn’t sure what the problem was yesterday. Usually the offending signal is on a lower frequency, this was the other way around and not harmonically

It wouldn’t hurt to use them. ?On Field Day with a lot of different radios so close to each other, it’s a good idea to isolate the band your on to avoid spill over. David KO4DKN
