Haven't had the 599 on in more than six months. Fired it up today and the main readout is scrambled. Voltage shows 0.0v despite being connected to 12v supply.
I can hear static but no frequency readout -- just odd characters. I can change menu settings. Reset to factory default and updated firmware. Same thing. Nothing.
Ideas? -- or is this one of those typical things that requires a visit to service?
