Update: About a month ago or so I cancelled my KX2 order and purchased a TX-500 at the local HRO (Salem, NH), so I could at least I could save the sales tax (hi). I'm enjoying the radio and its relative simplicity of operation. Lab599 support via email seems responsive too.
