If this person Doliwa is in Australia, perhaps you can find a way to contact him directly.
Is it possible that he might be a survivor or family member that is not a member of our group?
It would not appear to be in either of our interests to bid up the price.
I perhaps some accomodation can be made whereby both parties get satisfaction after the bidding is complete.
