Where have you been - we have been waiting for you!

If you have not yet done so, please visit the files we have gathered thanks to Julian Plowy, at the address:
http://www.aforgottenodyssey.com/gallery/view_album.php?set_albumName=SantaRosa

In that collection, I see the names Eugenia Grzybowicz (the mother) and 3 daughters (Aleksandra, Anna, and Maria) all born in Woronucha in the powiat (county) of Krzemieniec in Wolyn. ?One of these may be your mother?

I commend to all members a visit to this collection of hundreds of photos, documents, letters, newspaper clippings, etc. as they put together a fascinating mosaic of the journey of the refugees to Mexico and their lives there.

By the way, Ricardo, in an earlier message you mentioned that Krzemieniec was not in Kresy, but of course it was. ?Though it is now located in Ukraine, Wolyn was one of the wojewódstwo (provinces) in the eastern borderlands (Kresy wschodnie) of the 2nd Polish Republic prior to 1939.
