I agree! I think it's no coincidence that, at a time when it has
become essential and vital for me to understand where I have come
from, that this group has materialised. I was speaking to my brother
today (he lives in Coffs Harbour for all you Australians out there)
and he expressed that he simply thought our father was indifferent to
his past and that is why he never spoke about it. I explained to him
what little I have learned since joining this group and thus what I
have been able to piece together about a family (that he and I never
knew) torn apart forever by a war kept silent, and how many of us
there are out there who are actually in similar situations. He then
said what I expect many of us have said many times, 'I wish I'd known
all this earlier.'
I am in awe of the number and quality of people who seem to be
finding this group and who 'qualify'. So Stefan, for this I am truly
grateful for your efforts.
On another note...Paul, another beautiful poem.
