My TS-450 has no output in transmit. ?I have traced the problem to the antenna relay. ?Does anyone know a good replacement?

I found some NR-HD-12V relays on eBay shipping from China. ?Might have to take a chance on phony parts.

If you find relays that will fit the board and they have at least the same
current and voltage handling specs, they should be fine. You may have to be
inventive if you can't find them with the same spacing for the leads and same
"pinouts" to the relay but if you have room inside, you should be able to find a
way to make it work, even if you have to mount it upside down and run the wires
up from the circuit board to the relay.

Not everything from China is cheaply made. Some good quality computers come from
there. And quality doesn't only have to do with quality inspections. A good
company can set up an assembly line to make building components mistake-proof,
and source items from good quality vendors. The prices may be higher than
cheaply made things but a few cents or dollars more may be worth the quality
difference.

Thanks for the advice. ?I am going to order two relays from “101automation” for $20. ?They appear legit but now I have to wait for shipping from china.
In the meantime, I hot-wired another relay and now I get output but only 30 watts. ?Could be a blown final when the relay failed and presented a high SWR load. ?I will track that repair in a new topic.

I installed the relay from?“101automation” and it works fine. ?It is identical to the original relay.
On eBay search for “Panasonic Relay NR-HD-12V”.

Do research before using a non-exact replacement relay for the RF circuit. You need to verify that the replacement relay and - if added - additional wiring will not affect your SWR. Some repair shops make new output pcb boards to minimize lead length and swr.?
