If you find relays that will fit the board and they have at least the same
current and voltage handling specs, they should be fine. You may have to be
inventive if you can't find them with the same spacing for the leads and same
"pinouts" to the relay but if you have room inside, you should be able to find a
way to make it work, even if you have to mount it upside down and run the wires
up from the circuit board to the relay.

Not everything from China is cheaply made. Some good quality computers come from
there. And quality doesn't only have to do with quality inspections. A good
company can set up an assembly line to make building components mistake-proof,
and source items from good quality vendors. The prices may be higher than
cheaply made things but a few cents or dollars more may be worth the quality
difference.
