Could easily fit a UBEC inside to power it. Add power connector of choice and you would be up and running.

Yeasu FT-890 connects to JS8 but not FL-Rig #PI4
So, I got a Yeasu FT-890 with the USB Cat controller, on a Raspberry Pi-4, 4 gig, running Build-a-Pi. I was able to connect to FL-Rig 3 times, and now it keeps saying the radio is not responding.
