More than likely it is FLDIGI that is causing most of the growth with the swap file. Closing Conky should also help a bit with the swap but I don't think it is the major culprit. With only 512 RAM,

The green activity light flashes 10 times (about a half second in between) then stops flashing when safe. If you have a Pi4, and you use the command shutdown -h now, it will power off the red power
