CHIRP is very much a Python 2 application only.? The progress on moving it to Python 3 is extremely slow.? I have been working off and on trying to get a Python 2 environment working on? Ubuntu 21.10 unsuccessfully.

Please let me know if you make progress. This is one of the few apps that I don't have running yet. I'll probably revert to installing via apt until we figure out how to get it built from source or the flatpak.
