cgps ?yields nothing. ?I know about the pbm with USB 3.0. ?I have the GPS dongle plugged into the 2.0 slot and I have installed a ferrite loop on the USB cable with about 10 loops. ?I let it run

just a suggestion that may help with conky..... Conky is continually making calls based on a default refresh and an over rife=de that may be placed on individual lines.? If you gut the .conkyrc file

Peter, Was this a build being installed by Build-a-Pi (BAP) or some other install? If using BAP, just go back to BAP and chose to reinstall the program, even if the menu says the program is installed.
