YAAC and Xastir have a way/setting to change to a regional map. However, it accesses by being on the line. There's a check button I didn't notice in Xastir. "Use a new map on restart." This comment

Pat Menu has nothing to do with APRSdroid or APRS. It is an application to help manage Pat Winlink. You can change the map it displays in the Pat Menu settings. There are two choices, USA and World.

Mumble seems to suffer with noise. On a good strong signal, it’s acceptable. But add typical HF noise and lots of unpleasant artifacts appear. I used Skype for a number of years and likely still
