And after I fixed Wine my soundcard is back! lol I dunno why but I'll take it. Hopefully it stays.

I did the Mint Upgrader on the Evolve. Lost WiFi again but got sound. Switched WiFi drivers and Wifi came back. After a couple of reboots soundcard is gone again and hasn't come back. :( Soundcard

I nuked my non version 2 Evolve III I did a fresh install. ?Native sound input / output and wifi working on it also. Will install 73 on it tomorrow.

I have had it off and back on quite a few times and sound has been stable. Going to leave it running all night and check tomorrow.

Yes, I had the sound stop once too and but once I rebooted it was back and has been stable since (if you call 12 hours enough time to be stable :) )

OK, the sound stopped working after I ?rebooted. Wifi is still working. Edit: shut laptop down. Turned it back on and sound input and output are back. ?Will play with it and see if this issue is

I have two of the evolve laptops, so I Decided to update the OS on one of them to verify. I can confirm also that on board sound and Wi-Fi are working on my version 2 also.

Try adding your call and grid to both WSJT-X and js8 (run each each application and go into settings.? I think that might fix: "js8call: Depends: wsjtx-data but it is not installed)
