Setting up PTT with RTS using a serial to USB adaptor
Hi guys,
Just got a pi4 and started following Jasson's pi build. I think I missed his latest videos which sounds like he has automated the process. I think I did it "last year's" way. I've got a

Re: Conky Conking out on Grid square display.
I think you are saying that every time you plug your GPS in you get a different USB port?

Re: New addition
Hi Dave,
does that mean that whenever you plug in a different cable that you set up earlier you are able to identify it in a dropdown selection by its name?

As many of us use LoTW would it be helpful if tqsl were added to the options in BAP?

Re: gpsmon -n doesn't give data
I had to buy a Pi hat that allowed me to use 12 volts to run the pi system. 3 amps isn't quite enough. My gps would not work half the time and when it did, if I was using flrig, and or digital, the

Re: using BAP with Easydigi modem and Yaesu FT-1500; Patron
Typically guys will use either a sound card with VOX for PTT or PTT via CAT control which is fed through a USB port. You could also use the GPIO pins for PTT but this isn't something I have done.
