I just went through this,
the BAP script did not work so I followed the directions in
and all is good.

I did a fresh installaton of
Bullseye on a brand new out of the box P4b with a brand
new rtc.? The BAP installed without any apparent error
message.? I wasn't around the whole time the installation
was proceeding.? GPS and all the chosen applications were
installed. I still have to check that they all work.? I
did see that RTC was not installed.? When I used the BAP
update tool to re-install I got the error message that the
i2c interface needed to be activated.? Well, it was
activated.? I checked.? Just to be sure, I de-activated
it, rebooted an activated it again.? Installing RTC I
still got the same error message.? I did check RTC module
using the command sudo i2cdetect -y 1.? It returned the
expected "68."? I also tried different RTC modules, but
got the same negative results.
