Nice, wish I had the experience with the hardware TNCs – very cool!? Closest I ever got was a 14.4 baud modem on my IBM compatible.? ? I’ve set up the bpq.cfg file per KM4ACK’s video – “How to set up a Winlink Gateway on a Pi.”? I’m getting a Telnet error.? Not sure what port it should be set on.? He doesn’t mention it in the video and it auto populates.? I think it might be conflicting with port setting in PAT config settings? ? I just set up Winlink Packet, packet settings as I’m trying to expand my capabilities as a Winlink SysOp.? I chose Direwolf as my software TNC.? Would you happen to know the Direwolf settings for a IC-2100 type radio using a Digirig?? Radio goes straight into transmit but won’t unkey.? So something is triggering PTT within Direwolf.? I just don’t have the settings correct. ? Thanks, ? KM6QAQ 73 ?

Denis with Digirig mentioned that the Digirig Mobile (newest version) has the upgraded CM108 chipset (will work on pretty much any radio). ? Jeremy KM6QAQ ? ? ? Ok. You're using the Mic and Speaker. You have some audio adjusting to do. Run squelch open. Adjust the playback so it's not overdriving the radio.? Have you loaded Direwolf?? There's another setting in Direwolf that lets Flrig PTT the radio using the digirig?to PTT the radio. This is done by my 75 year old brian. Other may have the info at hand.

KM6QAQ 73 ? ? The IC 2100, if I'm not mistaken, has a 3.5 plug for programming. I never thought of using that plug for FLrig. If the radio vfo can be used, one would have to make a patch cable to run the data on the sleeve to tip. We had to do this for IC 746 way back when.

Hamshack Hotline ? ? Jason, how do you work linBPQ for a Winlink gateway when the IC-2100 doesn't work with FLrig.? I bring up PAT, winlink packet modem, and it prompts me to setup FLrig. You showed a radio FT-2890 using a signal link in the beginning of your video. That works off of VOX.?
