Re: Embossing from K1000

Re: Embossing from K1000
Very confusingly, the Kurzweil 1000 software, and the Kurzweil K1000 to K1200 line of musical synthesizers have very little in common. So it's not very likely anyone here can help you.

Re: K1000 EX Ensemble Expander upgrade
Hello, all! ?I know this is an old thread; I'm hoping it's OK to ask here. Are there any photos of the insides of a 1000EX module? Guitar Center has one for $99 (as of June 2023), and it would make

Hi again Chuck, Glad that that was useful for you. In essence, on the v.5 instruments, any ban of 100 locations that is blank can be a RAM location. Therefore, taking the info from K1000.net regarding

Hi Jim! Have you been able to launch diagnostics? It is written in a way that requires a bare minimum of hardware to function properly - i.e. it's not relying even on SRAM to be present. Do you know

That daughterboard is a great find. Some of the earlier K1000 keyboards had to have them to upgrade.
