Your country weakened the strict EU rules already as your country was still in the EU. Anyway, a lot of artisanal boat builders had to give up. And you are right when it comes to kit cars. I was interested in a Lomax three-wheeler. But here in France, you can forget it. Now you have freedom after your country stepped out of this organization. The EU is inflicted by a big group of lobbyists for all possible branches who tell the persons of the relevant departments which way to go. How much backshis changes hands in this, I do not know. The boating industry lobby is very active, and the regulations are changed more and more for the boating industry. Interestingly, only about 20 big companies are left in the EU that produce boats. Sometimes you see, special for multihulls, a newcomer, but they disappear relative quick.?
