Moderated Re: ECO 520 anyone building?

 

Hi

I changed the rig of the ECO 520. To make handling more easy, omit the small jib. Then coming about is a lot easier.
You do not need a traveler for the jib, but an out haul when not sailing on the wind.
The plywood tangon can be omitted too. An Aluminum tangon is all what is needed.?
For very light weather, a genacker can be set flying.
