Moderated Re: Manta - Galacticat (Formerly Lucia) sails again :)

Thank you for your letter. Mmm, more as a letter.?
Somebody had sent me some photos of how the boat looked after the hurricane. But they disappeared in the jungle of my computer files.
I remember only it was some work to do to refit the boat.
As we were in New Brunswick and Saint Jean some years ago. Sailing where you are is demanding. I was impressed with the difference between ebb and flood, which is one of the highest in the world. The resulting currencies are enormous.?
I know that the Manta is very seaworthy. For whom the boat was built sailed in any weather. For example, sailing to the boat show in Ears Cord in London from the Netherlands in January. Wind force 10. So what, a bit bumpy, but we made it in good time. I stop here.?
This boat can have any weather. Have fun. And thank you again.??
We were discussing short the possibility for the new engine. The old engine room has enough space for anything practical. The boat would then be in trim again.
?
Cheers
?
