Jazzers: I am thinking of buying a 7 string. I do a
lot of accompianing (sp?) and more and more solo
stuff, and I do a lot of walking bass on the bottom,
so I am thinking a 7 string is the way to go. I'll
spend some bucks but probably not a Benedetto level
expense. I am thinking about names such as Moll,
Shaefer, Manzer, Solomon, Mortoro, Comins,
MCampellone, Napolitano, Buscarino (although these
last two seem near Benedetto levels in price). Anyone
have thoughts on the matter? Other names? I would
prefer to spend between 4 and 10k. Also, what are the
best guitar shows to hit to play several of these?
